The van der Merwe family's passion for hair started in 2005 when co-owner and Creative Director Heleen, was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer. Losing her signature locks to chemotherapy, she experienced first-hand what it felt like to lose a part of herself. Through the van der Merwe's fantastic personal relationship with the founders of Gold Fever, the Gold family, they have been able to create Gold Fever Luxury Hair Australia and now Millennial Hair.
